Beside Myself

Twins baseball starts in 3 days! My excitement is multiplying each minute! Love the new commercial with Denard Span, Jason Kubel, Coach Jerry White and Danny Valencia! Not so into the new voice on them now, trying to be like the voice of Bill Woodson . Woodson did the "Get to Know 'Em", "Every Fan Counts" and "This Twins Territory". He was once the voice of Superfriends "Meanwhile back at the Hall of Justice..." and the voice for the beginning of Odd Couple. He was born in 1917 so he was nearly 90 when he started the Twins Radio commercials. I have to assume he just wasn't up to it anymore and I sure miss his rich voice. I wish the Twins had gone another way and used an entirely different voice rather then try to imitate Woodson. My suggestion is Kevin Kling! Awesome write storyteller and a very folksy voice. He does the Minnesota accent well, The Twins are becoming more popular nationally so lets play up the whole Minnesota thing. We have our hometown boy playing for us and he is a bona fide star but still a Minnesota boy! Ya you betcha! Three days people!! Twins play in Toronto! GO TWINS!!
